About Us

Dartford Labour Party exists to promote democratic socialist politics for the parliamentary constituency of Dartford; part of the South East Regional Division of the European Parliament; six divisions of Kent County Council; the 44 seats of the Borough council area; and for various parish and town councils within our area.

Labour values are expressed in the Party Constitution Clause 4:

The Labour Party is a democratic socialist party. It believes that by the strength of our common endeavour we achieve more than we achieve alone, so as to create for each of us the means to realise our true potential and for all of us a community in which power, wealth and opportunity are in the hands of the many not the few; where the rights we enjoy reflect the duties we owe and where we live together freely, in a spirit of solidarity, tolerance and respect.

We are always working for Dartford, whether there's an election or not so if we can help in any way please use our Contact Page and someone will get in touch.

What is happening with transport connections in SE London. We are moving to Dartford in December and have now seen South Eastern Connex is under consultation to reduce trains. With all the new developments across the SE this will be horrific. We were hoping a faster line would be opened from Dartford with the redevelopment. Is this an issue the Labour Party is addressing for the many?
