Being a regular commuter to and fro London, I feel that Southeastern are failing to provide a good service to the people of Dartford. Whilst prices are being hiked each year they have not increased the number of coaches on their trains at peak times or dealt with the consistent delays. 

Gareth Johnson is worried about Boris&#039;s influence on Dartford and the threat to it&#039;s &quot;Kentishness&quot; - he should really be supporting a solution to Southeastern&#039;s failures. This is one of them. Advantages of having the oyster card system, a more centralised network to London and the possibility of more frequent trains are things to consider.

Dartford is now a commuter town, many of us rely on a good and frequent service to and from London. It is part of the interest of the town&#039;s economy and people to have a strong transport link, due it being strategically located on the doorstep of London.

They&#039;re currently building a new station but will a brand new shiny station will not stop the woes of being a Dartford commuter? ....]]></description>
